I am aware that providing paid vacation time and sick days are not required by law but I need to know if when you are already provided that benefit can the employer take that benefit away with out prior notice? According to my offer letter, I have a balance of 2.5 vacation days. It seems like according to mass general law 149, section 148, they are required to do so.
